In short

Support applications and everything around them go through Migrant Help, not straight to the Home Office. Each topic has its own inbox — writing to a general one usually just adds to the wait. Below is each address and what it is for.

Migrant Help free helpline: 0808 8010 503

These inboxes are read Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. If it is urgent, call the free helpline 0808 8010 503, use Webchat, or open Raise an Issue on the Migrant Help site. The line for eligibility and changes of circumstances (EAGL) runs Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm.

Migrant Help — support while your asylum claim runs

Home Office — your case, documents and data

Organisations only

The operator keeps these two inboxes for partner organisations. If you are writing about your own case you will not get a reply from them — use the addresses above or the free helpline.

Addresses are taken from the Migrant Help page and from our own pages that already used them. We do not give immigration advice — we only show where to go.
