Baraka Community and Family Centre improves the lives and wellbeing of young people and their families from Black and ethnic minority communities in the west of Glasgow, offering recreational activities and supporting their development and integration into the community. It helps them access public services and runs community-led programmes in West Glasgow: a food distribution service in partnership with FareShare, the Baraka Thrive digital and wellbeing hub, family social and learning meetups and a family connection hub, Zakat and Sadaqah hardship support for emergencies, and the Refugee Festival Scotland event Flavour of Home.
