Clyde Judo Club promotes physical fitness and general wellbeing for people in Scotland, with particular emphasis on communities in the Renfrewshire area, by advancing public participation in sport. It provides judo classes for members of the community, a clear route for personal development through a structured sporting curriculum in a disciplined environment, and affordable, accessible activity for everyone, including people who face greater barriers to taking part in sport such as women, refugees, care-experienced people and those affected by disability. It also provides opportunities to develop sporting excellence through coaching, conditioning, competitive participation and officiating in judo.
