Activities
Promotes the health, spiritual and educational development of all children and young people, and the moral, vocational and social development of those in need by reason of social difficulty or disadvantage, so that they can integrate into their communities and become full members of society. It provides care, resettlement, education, training and rehabilitation for prisoners, ex-prisoners, offenders, ex-offenders and those at risk of offending and their families, for people affected by alcohol, drug and other addictions, and for refugees, asylum seekers and other immigrants and their families and dependents. It also carries out and publishes research into the social conditions and the mental, psychological, spiritual, moral, social and physical needs of these groups, and educates the public and other organisations about them.
