Activities
The organisation's purposes are the provision of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the people for whom the activities are primarily intended, in particular refugees and asylum seekers. This will predominantly be carried out through facilitating access to and attendance at professional football matches and other similar events and activities in Scotland, removing financial and social barriers to participation and thereby promoting social inclusion and improving wellbeing. It also aims to promote equality and diversity by raising awareness of the discrimination and challenges faced by refugees and asylum seekers in Scotland, correcting common misconceptions and sharing positive stories and accurate educational materials through social media and other communication to foster understanding, inclusion and community cohesion. Ancillary activities include making links and working in partnership with other charities, organisations and groups involved in the support of communities in Scotland.
