Faith-Chat Platform works to prevent and relieve poverty by providing support services to people in need in Scotland and overseas, helping them generate a sustainable income or become self-sufficient, including homeless and unemployed people, refugees, asylum seekers and their dependents. It advances education through scholarships, maintenance allowances and help for schools with facilities and equipment; advances religion by supporting places of worship and raising understanding of religious beliefs and practices online and offline; promotes health and wellbeing through treatment, care and healing, including for sickle cell anaemia and mental health, and through disaster relief; and raises awareness of environmental protection and sustainable practices among minority communities.
