Activities

The association's objects are to advance the religion of Islam, promote religious and racial harmony, equality and diversity, advance education, and relieve those in need in Glasgow and the surrounding areas. It seeks to provide support, practical assistance, relief and counselling for immigrant, refugee and converted Muslim individuals and families either living in or coming to live in Glasgow and Scotland, and to aid their integration into society, as well as relief to those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. It also provides a place of gathering for religious, cultural and educational lectures and public meetings, delivered mainly in English to keep the programmes accessible.
