Activities

Enables men and women, without regard to race, religion, creed or politics, to give effective voluntary service to the community, individually or in groups, in co-operation with local communities and other local, national and international organisations. This fosters confidence between people of different social, cultural, political or religious backgrounds by working, learning and living together, and training is provided for those wishing to give such service. It also assists those in need on the occasion of natural catastrophes, relieves distress, poverty, sickness and disease, provides and improves facilities for the well-being and recreation of elderly people, people with disabilities and refugees, and provides and improves educational and recreational facilities for children and young people in need.
