Activities
The organisation's purpose is to advance citizenship by providing support and welcoming newcomers, refugees and other vulnerable groups to the Inverclyde area. It will provide a range of activities such as music and creative initiatives to encourage engagement and inclusion, and will seek to engage with local organisations to develop partnerships and links to wider services, to reduce the risk of individuals becoming socially excluded. It will advance arts and culture across the local area, promote the interrelation of Ukrainians into the local community while preserving their national identity, and organise events to strengthen intercultural dialogue and to promote both the English and Scottish languages and cultures among children and adults. It will also promote Ukrainian art, music, literature and folk traditions, and create initiatives such as art therapy and educational programmes.
