Activities
The charity provides emotional and practical support to LGBTQI+ refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants. Its purposes are to promote equality and diversity for diverse LGBTQ+ refugee, asylum seeker and migrant communities through celebrating cultural heritage and inclusion, and to provide empowerment and capacity building support as a means of tackling isolation and promoting equal opportunities and integration. It also works to advance active citizenship and equal opportunities for these communities through capacity building and community development initiatives that support equality, community cohesion and democratic participation, and through cultural, educational, social and empowerment initiatives that assist in removing barriers to active citizenship. A further purpose is to advance health and wellbeing at local and national levels through promoting health awareness, training initiatives, volunteering, and physical and mental wellbeing support programmes.
