Navigating Sanctuary Life supports asylum seekers and refugees with advice on their rights to housing, benefits and legal rights, emergency grants and vouchers covering transport, utilities and household necessities, and counselling and peer support for people dealing with trauma. It delivers ESOL provision, employability workshops and skills training, helps people apply for university or college places, runs social activities that reduce loneliness and isolation, provides financial literacy workshops and access to small hardship grants, and signposts people to legal counsel for navigating the asylum process. It works in partnership with local charities, faith organisations, companies and government agencies, and provides activities and educational support for children, young people and families.
