New Hope Community holds weekly meetings, organises events and celebrates happy moments with all participants, challenging loneliness and isolation and supporting asylum seekers and refugees from around the world. It offers sewing classes where participants can do alterations and learn new sewing skills, and runs a foodbank service once a month, distributing food free of charge to the participants most in need. Its purposes also include clothing donations and encouraging participation in ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) classes, as well as promoting other courses that help with employability skills, general wellbeing and safety.
