Activities
The organisation advances community development by offering activities that bring together individuals and families from the Kurdish community, aiming to improve wellbeing and help people who are new to Scotland resettle, as they are often affected by the asylum and refugee process. It teaches Kurdish and English languages, runs literacy classes taught by people from the Kurdish community, holds dance classes, and organises children and family activities and community meetings to reduce social isolation. It also advances Kurdish heritage and culture, providing opportunities for the wider community to come together through music and song, dance and costume, and to learn about Kurdish culture.
