Trojan Women creates and runs psycho-social support and awareness-raising drama projects with refugees and asylum seekers in the United Kingdom and abroad, culminating in public performances of plays written and acted by the participants themselves. Working with theatre professionals, it aims to relieve psycho-social distress through meaningful group activity and to give participants a platform to tell their own dramatised stories directly to the public, amplified by filmed stage performances, documentary films and a podcast.
