Activities
The Women's Integration Network (WIN) was established to empower women from diverse backgrounds to achieve greater social and economic inclusion. It raises awareness of poverty and challenges the barriers which keep women in poverty, particularly those who are in or have been in the asylum process. Its activities include skills training and upskilling workshops, one-to-one career coaching and CV development, confidence-building and leadership sessions, and connecting women to local services such as childcare, housing and legal aid. It promotes equality and diversity in a supportive environment that values multiculturalism, increases awareness of members' rights through educational programmes, and reduces isolation by providing a place where women can meet and develop relationships, working with community groups, employers and volunteers in community hubs and online.
