  2. Complete the scholarship application form by the deadline (23 April 2026 for 2026/27)
  3. Submit evidence of immigration status to Scholarships@brunel.ac.uk by the same deadline
  4. Shortlisted applicants attend an informal interview in June
  5. Scholarships formally confirmed in September, after exam results

application form · interview

There is an interview here. It is a conversation about your situation and your study plans, not a subject exam: nobody tests the school syllabus or tries to catch you out. You can answer calmly, in your own words.

Ask before you apply

We do not fill in the gaps for the institution. Here is what its own page leaves unclear — these are normal questions, everyone asks them.

  • What happens to the payments if I am granted refugee status mid-year?

If this scheme is not for you

About the institution

Fee status is assessed against regulations set by the UK government, using information supplied on the application form. Award covers up to 4 years full-time (5 years sandwich course), with continuation each year dependent on meeting progression criteria.

Mostly school leavers. Only 13.9% of students are over 30. If you are over 35, look at other universities on the list — there are more adults there.
