How to apply
You need a place first: apply to the programme and wait for an offer. Scholarship applications are only considered from people who already hold one.
- Hold an offer for an undergraduate course at Kingston for the forthcoming academic year and be unable to access Student Finance due to asylum status
- Complete all sections of the official online application form
- Type up your personal statement in a Word document
- Obtain a referee's supporting statement — applications are only accepted if this accompanies them
- Send the online application confirmation together with all required documents/statements to kucares@kingston.ac.uk in ONE email before the deadline — documents sent after the deadline are not considered

There is no interview — the decision is made on documents. On most routes there are no subject entrance exams either: the main hurdle on the way into university is proving your level of English. The exceptions are medicine, dentistry and creative courses, where tests and portfolios do appear.
