How to apply
You need a place first: apply to the programme and wait for an offer. Scholarship applications are only considered from people who already hold one.
- Hold an unconditional offer from Swansea University for an eligible postgraduate taught master's course starting September 2026
- Email participationstudents@swansea.ac.uk to request the application form link
- Complete the online application form: personal details, evidence of current immigration status/pending status, a personal statement, and 2–3 references from a person of good standing (e.g. teacher, community group member) who can verify your circumstances
- A two-stage selection process may apply, which can include an invitation to an online interview

There is an interview here. It is a conversation about your situation and your study plans, not a subject exam: nobody tests the school syllabus or tries to catch you out. You can answer calmly, in your own words.
