Refugee Scholarship

Scheme closed. The institution no longer accepts applications. We keep the page so you do not search for it again or land on an outdated copy elsewhere. What to do next is in “If this scheme is not for you”.
What it gives
partial fee support
up to £3,000
£3,000/year toward tuition (course fee is ~£24,500/year, so this is a partial contribution, not a full waiver)

Level of study: undergraduate
The student finance condition

Having no access to student finance is not a condition here: people with recognised refugee status who already receive a student loan can apply.

  3. Deadline: 23 June 2026

There is no interview — the decision is made on documents. On most routes there are no subject entrance exams either: the main hurdle on the way into university is proving your level of English. The exceptions are medicine, dentistry and creative courses, where tests and portfolios do appear.

We do not fill in the gaps for the institution. Here is what its own page leaves unclear — these are normal questions, everyone asks them.

  • What happens to the payments if I am granted refugee status mid-year?
