How to apply

You do not need to wait for an offer — the scholarship application can run alongside admission.

  1. Draft your answers offline using the Word version of the application form
  2. Register on the online application portal and complete the form (no autosave — save and return as needed)
  3. Upload a completed budget template and a one-page reference letter from someone who knows you professionally or academically
  4. Submit online; first-stage outcome (declined or invited to interview) given by 17 April
  5. If shortlisted, attend a Zoom interview in May; final decision by 19 June
  6. If awarded, send proof of university enrolment (usually Sept/Oct) before payments begin

What to prepare

  • Completed budget form (Excel template)
  • Reference letter (max 1 page) from a professional/academic contact
  • Proof of university enrolment (submitted after award, before payment)

How they select

application form · references · interview

There is an interview here. It is a conversation about your situation and your study plans, not a subject exam: nobody tests the school syllabus or tries to catch you out. You can answer calmly, in your own words.

Ask before you apply

We do not fill in the gaps for the institution. Here is what its own page leaves unclear — these are normal questions, everyone asks them.

  • What happens to the payments if I am granted refugee status mid-year?
