How to apply
You need a place first: apply to the programme and wait for an offer. Scholarship applications are only considered from people who already hold one.
- Get a conditional or unconditional offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate programme
- Submit the application by 23:59, Friday 22 May 2026 (2026-27 cycle)
- University assesses your eligibility
- If shortlisted, attend an interview to discuss the information you've provided
- If successful at interview, submit immigration status evidence to the Compliance team
- Receive a decision within two weeks of your interview
What to prepare
- Evidence that your asylum application is under consideration by the Home Office (or other immigration status documentation), submitted to the Compliance team after interview

There is an interview here. It is a conversation about your situation and your study plans, not a subject exam: nobody tests the school syllabus or tries to catch you out. You can answer calmly, in your own words.
