The student finance condition

Open to applicants who do receive student finance

Having no access to student finance is not a condition here: people with recognised refugee status who already receive a student loan can apply.

How to apply

You do not need to wait for an offer — the scholarship application can run alongside admission.

Apply to a University of Edinburgh PGT Master's programme in the College of Science and Engineering; you receive a UUN (University User Number)
Complete the scholarship application form using your UUN, answering short essay questions on academic merit, interest in your field, and community impact
Application is shortlisted by Education Beyond Borders, then reviewed by the Bseisu Foundation
Attend an interview in April
Decisions communicated in early May

There is an interview here. It is a conversation about your situation and your study plans, not a subject exam: nobody tests the school syllabus or tries to catch you out. You can answer calmly, in your own words.
