How to apply
You need a place first: apply to the programme and wait for an offer. Scholarship applications are only considered from people who already hold one.
- Apply to the University of Glasgow and hold a conditional or unconditional offer before applying for the scholarship
- Gather immigration evidence: (ARC/BRP, both sides, plus Immigration Bail Reporting Notice, all pages) OR (ARC/BRP plus your most recent Home Office letter showing a reference number) OR (a UK government share code, for e-visa holders)
- Submit the scholarship application with this documentation — applications cannot be considered without it
- Scheme is closed for 2026/27 and reopens in October for 2027/28

There is no interview — the decision is made on documents. On most routes there are no subject entrance exams either: the main hurdle on the way into university is proving your level of English. The exceptions are medicine, dentistry and creative courses, where tests and portfolios do appear.
