Refugee and Displaced Persons Scholarships
How to apply
You need a place first: apply to the programme and wait for an offer. Scholarship applications are only considered from people who already hold one.
- Apply for a place on the specific eligible programme via that programme's own online application form and receive an offer
- After receiving your offer, submit the separate Refugee and Displaced Person scholarship application form online
- Provide documentary evidence of your refugee or displaced persons status, which must be current and show a valid start/end date
- Submit that evidence via the University's Enquiry Hub, selecting 'Admissions' then 'Scholarship/Bursary Opportunities' as the categories
- Awards are given first-come-first-served among eligible programmes, so apply as soon as a round opens

There is no interview — the decision is made on documents. On most routes there are no subject entrance exams either: the main hurdle on the way into university is proving your level of English. The exceptions are medicine, dentistry and creative courses, where tests and portfolios do appear.

About the institution
University of London is a federal university whose scholarship-eligible programmes here are online/distance-learning undergraduate and postgraduate courses rather than a single physical campus.
Mostly school leavers. Only 11.2% of students are over 30. If you are over 35, look at other universities on the list — there are more adults there.
