Can I use an e-visa for Turkey with Refugee Travel Document?
No. Turkey's e-visa does NOT work for Refugee Travel Document. Apply in person via VFS Global Turkey in London. Cost ~£230, processing 10–14 days.
Do I need Schengen for Europe?
Yes. With Refugee Travel Document you need a Schengen visa to travel to EU/EEA. Apply via VFS Global at the embassy of your destination. Cost €80, processing 2–4 weeks. Multi-entry visa is possible.
Can I travel to CIS countries?
Most require a visa for Refugee Travel Document holders (Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan). IMPORTANT: travelling to the country you fled may lead the Home Office to review your refugee status.
