👩‍⚕️ Nursing — NMC OSCE pathway

CBT £83 + OSCE £794 (first-attempt 48-54%). NMC FDP policy — alternative evidence for refugees. 6 active pipelines: LJMU (100+), RESTORE South Yorkshire, TBB (170+), Building Bridges, REACHE NW, RCN Displaced Persons. Band 5 £32,073 → £39,043 (2026/27).

🎓 Teaching — DfE QTS (5 routes)

Recognition (FREE from 7 Aug 2025, Ukraine yes Russia/Belarus NO), Assessment Only £2,500-3,250, PGCE £9,535 home (refugees = home students from day 1) + bursary £29k for shortage subjects. M1 £32,916 → UPS3 £51,048.

⚖️ Law — SRA SQE + QWE exemption

SQE 1+2 = £5,092 from Sept 2026. QWE exemption for fully qualified foreign lawyers — biggest time-saver. Spilka UK 350+ Ukrainian lawyers. Cheap path £3-3.5k. NQS London £45-65k+.

💊 Pharmacy — GPhC OSPAP

OSPAP £14-19k + Pre-reg + GPhC reg. Total £25-40k (the most expensive). GPhC waives application fees for refugees. Aston University 5 OSPAP priority places. From August 2026 every newly qualified pharmacist = independent prescriber.

If your asylum claim has been pending for more than 12 months, you can work in any RQF Level 6+ occupation, including all 6 professions above. This replaced the restrictive Immigration Salary List.
